What makes I Musici de Montréal so special, more than anything, is the abiding passion that drives its musicians. We’re both delighted and excited to put our voices together in wishing you a marvellous 2012-2013 season – my first as artistic director.
To mark the occasion, we’ve set aside a special place for emerging Canadian artists, and we’ve teamed up with renowned artists from Canada and abroad to carry off our projects; as well, we’ve forged partnerships and created synergies with other musical ensembles. We’ll also welcome Jean-Michel Malouf as conductor in residence as part of our mandate to contribute significantly to the training and professional development of the young artists we receive.
This season, I Musici de Montréal will offer a full slate of varied repertoires, and we’ll bring an original perspective to bear on their presentation. We therefore cordially invite you to join us for a series of unforgettable musical encounters at the Maison symphonique de Montréal and Bourgie Hall, and in the intimate confines of the magnificent Tudor Hall.
