I Musici de Montréal catches fire in a series of exceptional concerts
under the baton of Jean-Marie Zeitouni. The rich and seductive sonorities of the expanded orchestra take over Bourgie Hall at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Sharing the stage with top-flight guest artists and conductors, I Musici allows you to discover or rediscover the great classics, while revealing hidden treasures of the repertoire. F ollowing a notable first collaboration, conductor and violist Maxim Rysanov returns to I Musici. He invites us into his world, which is marked by Britten, romanticism as well as creation. Alternating between the baton and the viola in works by and inspired by Schubert, Rysanov guides the orchestra to the fevered 5th Symphony by the Viennese master.
90-120 minute concert including a 20-minute intermission.
