Conducted for the last time by conductor Jean-Marie Zeitouni, the I Musici de Montréal chamber orchestra and its 15 musicians will visit musical fields that are dear to them. So, on Thursday April 15 at 4:00 pm, live from St. Jax’s Church, the colors of Slavic music of the 20th and 21st centuries will light up this program which travels through Russia, Serbia and even Transylvania.

This concert will present exciting works during an evening combining tradition and modernity, while opening the curtain behind emotion and lyricism. And to close this event, the orchestra will perform a piece by Tchaikovsky that is filled with poignant nostalgia.

“We are proud to present this latest program with the talented and generous Jean-Marie Zeitouni who had been the artistic director of the company for ten successful years. We hope the public will be there for this special and memorable occasion. The great family of I Musici de Montréal join me in wishing him the best of luck in all his future engagements! A big THANK YOU, Jean-Marie, for your welcome and your kindness. May we, meet again very often.” says Marisol de Santis, General Director of I Musici de Montréal.
