L ight, mysticism and discovery. In its North American premiere, the Liturgies de lumière (Liturgies of Light) by Guillaume Connesson pave the way for Dixit dominus, RV 807 by Vivaldi, an opus newly attributed to the Venetian composer. A universally praised work, Lauridsen’s Lux Æterna, concludes this choral event brimming over with humanity.
