I Musici de Montréal invites young Quebec musicians aged 5 to 25 to take up the challenge!
The I Musici 2024 “Coups de Cœur” Gala Concert will take place on Saturday, June 22, at 2:30 pm, in the concert hall of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.
Our musicians know the hard work that goes into learning a musical instrument. The I Musici 2024 “Coups de cœur” Challenge is an invitation to surpass yourself individually by sharing with us, on video, an excerpt or the whole of a piece of music of which you are particularly proud, and which symbolizes the surpassing of yourself and your passion for music.
Awards
First prizes: “Coups de cœur” soloists with the orchestra at the gala concert
Second prizes: “Coups de cœur” with the orchestra at the concert-gala
All “Coups de cœur” and participants will receive 2 complimentary tickets to one of I Musici de Montréal’s 2024-2025 season concerts.
How to participate?
Shoot a video of yourself performing a piece of music (or an excerpt) that demonstrates your perseverance in learning your instrument. Your video must contain :
- A presentation section (1 minute maximum) including your first name, last name and age
- A brief presentation of the piece performed, why you chose it and what emotion it evokes in you
- Performance of the piece or excerpt (8 minutes maximum)
Sign the contest rules (a guardian or parent if under 18)

The gala concert will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., in the concert hall of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.
